5K Fun Run
Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Kids Red Nose 5k Fun Run

The 5K Fun Run and Fitness Walk and kids' mini-marathon is the same event. These events will be held in conjunction with the marathon. They begin at the marathon start and complete at the marathon finish line. Adults and children will participate together.
Amenities:
All registered runners receive:
- An official short-sleeve performance wicking shirt
- Fluid stations approximately every other mile
- Entertainment stations approximately every mile
- Free admission to health & fitness expo
- Discounted rates at various hotels
- Commemorative finisher's medal
- Plenty of finish line refreshments
- Opportunity to purchase official finish line photos

Runners and walkers of any age and/or ability are welcome to participate in the celebration of fun and fitness. After the event, please stay to cheer on the marathon runners.
Registration and Deadlines:
Entry fees are NON-REFUNDABLE and NON-TRANSFERABLE to another event, person, or year. Registration is available on-line or by mailing a completed registration form.
Cancellation Policy:
Entry fees are non-refundable, and entries are non-transferable to another person or event (i.e., marathon, half marathon, or relay). That means that once we receive and accept your entry, you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate. You may not transfer your entry to another participant. You may not transfer your entry to 2009.
Race Numbers:
You will be given a race number at the time you register. Your confirmation will include your race number. Bring your confirmation with you to the health and fitness expo to receive your runner packet and to pick up your number.
Race numbers must be visible at all times during the race. Failure to comply may result in your removal from the course.
Race numbers, computer timing chips, and t-shirts must be picked up at the Health and Fitness Expo. Entry confirmation will be mailed to you within three weeks of receipt at the marathon office or if you provide an e-mail address, an e-mail confirmation (if sent in by the September deadline). All on-line entries will receive an e-mail confirmation. Please be certain to include your correct e-mail address.
Age-group awards are presented in both the fun run and kids' mini-marathon.
Requirements:
There are no age-restrictions for this event.
