There are volunteer positions for every type of person - whether you want to be at the center of the competition or behind the scenes. Please send us an e-mail with your contact information. We will send you volunteer information when available.

1. Expo Operations
Assist in set up and organization

2. Expo Registration
Hand out numbers, T-shirts and packets

3. Information Booths
Answer questions from participants, volunteers and spectators

4. Warm Up
Help collect runners' bags and redistribute

5. Course Marshall
Keep runners on course and ensure safety

6. Split Timer
Call times and pace per mile at mile markers

7. Finish Line Operations
Assist staff in finish area operations

8. Finish Line Timing
Assist with timing runners at the finish

9. Start Line Set-up/Tear Down
Assist with the set up and tear down of all start line functions.

10. Finish Line Set-up/Tear Down
Assist with the set up and tear down of all finish line functions

11. Finish Chute
Assist runners with blankets and chip return

12. Food Distribution
Organize and distribute food to runners and volunteers

13. Shuttle Buses
Help runners at the Marriott Ren Cen and finish area

14. Crowd Control - finish line
Watch for problems and escort non-registered runners off the course

15. Media Correspondent
Gather runners for media interviews, help with race results posting

16. Church Relations
Help escort parishioners across course

17. Spirit Station
Organize your neighborhood, company, group or family and friends to have a spirit station on the marathon route to cheer on the runners.
